Google has recently made some changes to the way you search. I would like you to research the newest change to google, Google Instant. Describe what it is, and it's purpose. ReplyDeleteGoogle instant, gives you pages as you type in what you are looking for. It's Purpose is to give you the answers for what you’re looking for faster. This will impact the way we search by, giving us the best answers faster so it will take less time looking for the right answers. I like google instant I think it was a nice idea to add making google a little more different then the other search engines.
ReplyDeleteGoogle instant is a new Search engine by Google which makes searching alot faster instead of showing you suggestions as you type it shows results as you type. It can save you 2-5 Seconds per search. So in terms it’s more of a predictive search than a search . Jake Doubler
ReplyDeleteGoogle Instant shows results as you are typing in what you are searching for. The purpose of it is to get results faster and as you go to quicken the search. Google Instant will impact the way we search by given us more time to look at what we found cause the time it takes to find an article or page is quicker and easier. This change helps slow typers to be able to see more results without having to type as much. My personal opinion about Google Instant is that it is very helpful for every user so this a good improvement and helps Google improve itself.

Google instant is supposed to save time and be more precise with its searching, allowing you faster and more accurate data. I personally feel Google instant could be a success because it could save a lot of time in the long run and for those who are not that great at using search engines, this might be grateful for them. Google stats that it will save eleven hours every second, which is insane, if that comes to be true; this could be a real breakthrough for Google.

When we search we have to type out the full words and sometimes we don’t know exactly how to word something, but with Google instant, it shows you different options while you type. It’ll help us get what we need faster and in a more efficient way. I think Google Instant will help us, and I think it’s a good idea.

It also lets the user edit their results sooner if what they are typing does not yield the desired results. This allows for better search results in less time than the old Google or any other search engine. I think this is a very positive advancement in the way we search online; from personal experience, I love the efficiency.

It seems to me like it could replace the ‘I’m Feeling Lucky’ button, because when you type in a search term, Google predicts what site you want to go to and gives you a direct link. My personal opinion on Google Instant is that it’s kind of a stupid idea, because it’s not important to me how long my search takes, or if it’s shortened by 2-5 seconds.

The Google search is a lot faster.
As you type searches up different pages pop up as you go.
I think the new Google will be very helpful because it will be a lot faster and easier to search for the pages you are looking for. Instead of hitting enter or the search button after typing your search in. The pages of your search come up as you type making it faster to find what you’re looking for.

ReplyDeleteI dont think it is all that impressive. iTunes still seems alot better. I want to be able to put my music onto thing like an ipod mp3 etc. There are also alot of other sites that you can use to stream music from anyhere so its not all that great of a site
