Later that night kasha went on to the chat site to see who it was and found out it was her best friend. Aly her best friend didn’t know she was talking to Miguel the boy they both liked and said she wasn’t ever going to go out with him anyhow. Kasha went online the next day and posed as Aly and cropped in a suggestive picture and talked to Miguel. Miguel the next day show Aly and Aly was furious and told Aly she didn’t want to be friends with her anymore.
She gave out a lot of information that is private, even though she isn’t really giving it all away but she's making it pretty easy to find out! I haven't put anything like this online, on facebook and myspace, but I have a private account that only people I have added and know are my friends. Deputy Krupt wants us to know the hazards of being online and we need to be safe. The video I watched was: “Amy’s Choice” it’s about a girl who meets a guy online, and he is trying to befriend her. Trying to get her to go over to where he was, eventually he went to where she lived, then she ran away they charged him with taking a minor across state line. He can do it again and Amy’s afraid when he gets out of prison he might come after her.

Teresa give out her first name, her brother’s name, her telephone number, and with that one can find exactly where she lives. I have never put personal information on the internet. I wasn’t here when Deputy Krupp came in so I’m not exactly sure. I watched the video called “Angela’s Experience,” Angela wanted to chat with her friends online, in a chat room. She made a name that was good to protect her identity. She started getting bullied and told her friends that she wasn’t going in the chat room anymore. Then she got an email from the bully and showed her mom. She was being a very responsible teenager.

I never add anyone that I don't personally know, and even then I never get specific with my personal information.
3. Make sure that you know who you're talking to, because it's impossible to know if a stranger is telling the truth and they have the potential to be an online predator.
Summary: Amy’s story
Fifteen year old Amy met a man names Bill through an online chat room. He sympathized with her problems and concerns, and so Amy shared intimate details with him. Amy didn’t come home one night. She had decided to leave by bus and meet Bill. Amy’s mom searched her room and found a note that confirmed she was going on a “trip.” At first the police didn’t get involved, but Amy’s mom kept pressing to find her, and eventually they found Bill and Amy. Amy agreed to come home, but Bill kept contacting Amy and even visited her at her home. He then assaulted Amy at a hotel, and convinced Amy to leave with him again. When the police again caught Amy and Bill trying to leave, Bill told her that she wasn’t the first girl he had contacted, and Amy realized that she had been tricked and lied to. Bill was

A fifteen year old girl was having problems in her life and she felt as if she couldn’t turn to anyone in her life so she went to the internet and poured her heart out to a stranger.
