1. This new Hotmail feature allows an alternative way to reset passwords and keeps the users safer from internet predators looking to hijack accounts. Now, users can register a cell phone number; a secret code can be sent to this number allowing the reset of a password. A trusted computer registered with Hotmail can also be used; hotmail will automatically allow that computer to reset a password. Verification methods are also a requirement, prevented hijackers from locking users out of their accounts. A help website is provided for any problems encountered.
ReplyDelete2. This feature reduces the risk of a user's Hotmail account being hacked and allows the user to securely change his or her password.

If you forget your password or your account gets hijacked, instead of answering a security question to get it back it will be sent to your cell phone number that you put down. Or if you put a certain computer as a trusted one it will let you change the password on it. To help people be able to recover there password easier and also help prevent it from be hijacked. I would use it because i hate if my account gets hacked and i hate having to go to my e-mail account to recover the password.

The new feature for the password make it harder for people to hack into your account on hotmail, it also makes it easier for you to retrieve it if so. They added this so it would be a lot harder for people to hijack accounts. I would use this if I had important things I had to save, but I don’t so I probably wouldn’t. I would use it if I did because then I would feel more safe with my information being on there.

This new feature introduced by Microsoft makes it harder for hackers to hack accounts and easier for victims to recover their stolen or forgotten accounts. Microsoft came up with this feature probably to make more money and keep their customers happy and don’t want them to leave. The more people they have, the more money one will make. If I used the internet for e-mailing, then I would use this new feature because I feel more protected and safe

this new software microsoft has created, makes it much more difficult for hackers to try and access accounts. And on the upside it makes it easier for victims to recover their stolen information. Microsoft probably came up with this feature to make their customers more happy and to offer extra protection to there users. If i were to use my email more often i would definetly want this protection to make me feel safer on the internet.
ReplyDelete1. This new feature makes it harder for hijackers to acsess your account, but it also makes it easier for you to acsess your account. If you forget you password it sends it to a trusted phone number via text message.
ReplyDelete2. Microsoft came up with this idea because peoples accounts were getting hacked and people were forgetting their passwords.
3. I don't think I would use this feature because I'm good at remebering my passwords.
Microsofts security password is a new security feature to Hotmail today that is designed to make it harder for accounts to get broken in to and easier for victims to recover them if that had happened.Hotmail users have been able to answer a security question or have an e-mail sent to an alternate e-mail address when they need to get into their locked account, either because it was stolen or because they forgot the password. Now users can register a mobile phone number that a secret code can be sent so you can reset the password. I would use this microsoft feature because if I forget my password (which usually happens a lot)I can retrieve it or if somebody steals my account I can get it back.
